As the coronavirus crisis grips the nation and impacts the economy, food banks are working harder than ever to provide nutrition to those in need. Bellingham’s own Kulshan Brewing quickly made a plan to support Bellingham’s food bank in this time of crisis. Their beer, called Thirst Aid Kit, was brewed in support of the food bank who receives a portion of its proceeds. Kulshan’s Emily Mallos joins Tessa on the KGMI afternoon news to talk about how the brewery came up with the idea.
