A planned homeless shelter on the Bellingham waterfront drew plenty of public comment last night at the city council meeting.  We’ve talked about this issue before with Mayor Kelli Linville when the city announced the plan, but a group is working to try and urge the city and the Port to look at a different site. Kyle talks about his concerns over the proposal.

Cascade Connections is a non-profit that supports people with disabilities to both live AND work in our community. Nguyen spoke about the organizations concerns that while minimum wage has gone up the amount of state funding hasn’t gone up with it.
