BURLINGTON, Wash. — Another pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle while walking on I-5.

The State Patrol says a male, who has not been identified, was walking in the southbound lanes of I-5 just north of the George Hopper Interchange when he was hit by a semi around 7 Tuesday night.

The Deming man who was driving the semi was not injured.

Troopers are investigating causes, and the driver has not been charged with any crime.

In the last month, two other pedestrians have died while walking on the freeway north of Everett and south of Bellingham.
