BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The 87-year-old Canadian woman who was injured in a collision in Whatcom County earlier this week has died.
An initial report from the Washington State Patrol said Alvina Splockton of BC was traveling southbound on Haxton Way in her vehicle on Monday when she suffered an unknown medical incident and crashed into a ditch and culvert.
She was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
The state patrol said Thursday that the elderly woman passed away at St. Joseph’s hospital on Tuesday.
