BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Just days after a fire that investigators call suspicious gutted the historic Hohl Feed and Seed building, another fire just a block away has fire crews looking for similarities.
KOMO reports investigators aren’t jumping to conclusions and are ensuring they are through before they make any connections between the two fires.
The fire Thursday morning in an alley off 112 E. Holly Street destroyed two large recycling bins.
Surveillance video shows a potential suspect in Monday’s fire at Hohl Feed and Seed, but no one was spotted in the second fire.
The first two minutes of the video show a subject clad in dark clothing in the distance, while at about 2:19 in the video the view changes to Magnolia Street showing the subject emerge from the alley on the left.
If you have any information relevant to the investigation call the Bellingham Fire Department at 360-778-8400.
