BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Another hat has been thrown into the ring in the race for Whatcom County Executive.
County Council member Satpal Sidhu has announced he’s running for the position being vacated by Jack Louws.
Sidhu is a longtime resident of Lynden, a former Dean of Engineering at Bellingham Technical College and a local business owner.
He says on his campaign website that he’ll focus on issues like water rights and quality, home affordability and homelessness, and mental health.
Last month, Karen Burke announced her candidacy for the position.
