BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom Humane Society still has some animals left to adopt after the Hohl Feed and Seed fire, as well as more than a dozen rabbits after the Kitsap Humane Society sent some here.
After an adoption event on Saturday, Whatcom Humane says about 75% of the animals rescued from Hohl’s were given new homes, but that some still needed adopters.
Meanwhile, Kitsap Humane rescued about 300 rabbits from a Poulsbo home, and Whatcom Humane received twelve of them on Sunday.
To see details for adoption, visit the Whatcom Humane webpage or visit them at their Division Street location off of Hannegan Road by Builder’s Alliance.
